Good seat, base needs work

I love the car seat and stroller combo that we purchased. However, I’m not a fan of the base. The “bar” is a stupid design. Especially once your baby grows and hopefully you still keep them rear facing, their little feet can get squished between the car seat and the bar when you’re removing the seat from the vehicle. You have to pay very close attention when lifting up on the car seat for removal.

It Fit!

I wasn't sure that it would fit with the car seat we had but it fit perfect! And now we don't have to set up the base in second vehicle.

Base only

Love how we can just use this base to switch car seat from car to car! Not something they had years ago!

Bad latching system

This car seat base would not latch where the seatbelt straps go after two uses. The car seat was gently use and it is disappointing how unreliable it is I would not recommend this product for new parents as it is problematic and unsafe. Luckily, I had a spare base to bring child home.

Infant car seat base

Ordered the infant car seat base with bar, and after two uses the latch will not hold or lock. This item was used very gently, so it is upsetting how quickly it has failed. I was surprised at how faulty this product turned out. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this to new parents.

Is it compatible….

Is this base also compatible with the evenflo pivot modular travel system car seat?

The base always seems to be sold out everywhere. I bought the expand travel system and love it but am very frustrated that they don’t have the bases available for the safemax. If you don’t have extra bases don’t sell the car seat
