Going strong after 4 years!

We have had two of these seats for 4 years and another for nearly 2 years for my kids and they are excellent. I feel that my kids are truly safe in these seats. Yes they are very heavy and bulky but I feel the benefit of safety, being roll over tested far exceeds the downfall of being a big bulky seat compared to others. The seat is easy to clean, the cup holders pop out for cleaning, the seats still look brand new after all this time.

Excellent Seat that Grows with Your Baby!

I received this seat and another at my baby shower and the Platnium Safemax Shiloh is simply the best seat! It's well padded and exceptionally well made, she loves her seat,and installation was fast and easy no sweating or over exertion from straining around in the backseat The reclining feature is wonderful!! no more head slumping for my little gal. This will be the last seat we will need purchase because it grows with her. Happy Baby=Happy Mom.

Purchased this carseat for our first. It is amazing for long roadtrips which we do often that is the only reason we still have this carseat as it is SSSO BULKY. I love that it goes for all stages BUT it's so bulky we went and purchased a more compact carseat. We have a sedan and it is hard to get the child in and out with the sides being so high. Let alone a toddler who is refusing to get in the carseat. The passenger seat in the front has to go pretty far forward for there to be good space for the legs even when not reclined (love the great recline though it's super comfy for long trips) Cup holders though are in perfect position for a child to put toys or sippy cups. Roll over tested really needs to be looked at more closely from a recent documentary it means that a child stayed in the carseat though they could have been shaken around and had severe damage the carseat still passes the roll over test because the dummy stayed in the carseat during impact(s) something to keep in mind. there is LOTS to like but it is SSOO bulky that I don't think it is for a small/sedan sized car. Even for a truck it's a bit hard to get the child in as you have to lift them pretty high and installation is not easy for all cars like vans and trucks.

Good, but not for infants:(

We bought it to have one car seat for our baby girl from her birth till school, but it is totally not suitable for a child younger than a year. Baby’s head falls down while seated, it doesn’t seem she is comfortable in it, constant screaming while in the car seat proves me right. Yes it is big and might be comfortable for older kids, yes, it is not difficult to install. However the termo material is disputable, we drove 30 mins (+14C) and baby’s back was totally wet in that adjustable to the temperature material, while manufacturers claim it shall not be hot in summer and cold in winter...

Disappointed

The side piece that holds the cup holder on one side won’t stay snapped in and my child picks the styrofoam off that is exposed. Disappointed in this as I love the fabric and comfort of the overall seat.

This car seat has held up. I love that its roll over tested. Makes me feel safer especially because we have an SVU
