I LOVED it, I had my doubts about the size, because I thought it was smaller, but it's great, super easy to handle and very cute

Bad material electric food steamer.

The material is not stainless steel, easy damaged. I only used at once look at the pictures I posted. I’m very disappointed.

Perfect steamer

I received this as a gift from my daughter. I have stovetop steamers but wanted something with built-in timer and auto shut-off. It’s perfect for food that needs controlled steaming. It was mentioned in the review above that steaming basket doesn’t fit in the base, we figured out that once the unit is on, the basket will fit perfectly. I gave this 4 stars because it only comes in white, I wish it comes in stainless or black too so it matches my kitchen appliances.

Base Unit doesn't fit with steaming tray

It's not 13" diameter, but only 11". Also the base unit doesn't fit with steaming tray properly. Very disappointed with it. It's pricey, so It should be good but not.

Great

I bought this steamer over 1.5 years ago and it still works great. At first I was hesitant about buying it because of the price but after throwing out 2 plastic food steamers I took a chance with this one after seeing it was on sale. Although it is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of counter space I really like the large stainless steel food baskets and they don't retain odors and crack or warp out of shape like the plastic ones. Also, plastic is unsafe because they release toxic chemicals into the food so this was another important reason why I decided on this steamer.
