They sent me the wrong shade, even though by the outside says that it’s the correct one. It’s way darker.

Darker or Mislabeled

Ordered 2W2 Rattan Refill and it is much darker than it should be or it was mislabeled. Exchanging it today.

BE AWARE!

I received this refill yesterday. I was delighted to see my shade (3N1) was back in stock. Sadly I shall be returning it today, with this warning ... 1) the color is noticeably different than the same full compact I bought 6 months ago 2) the box says it's made in Italy! I looked up where Estee Lauder products are made, Italy is not listed. I further investigated online and learned that EL products stamped on the box "from Italy, may or may not be counterfeit" Now I do not know if that is true but makes me nervous to use. As reference none of my other DW matte powder foundations are made in Italy. Only USA. I don't know if this is a one off or if Macy's should investigate. Either way it's going back and I will be more cautious buying Estee Lauder makeup in the future.
