Great projector
Easy to set up. No replacing bulbs every 6 months

Great Hardware, Awful Software
There's no arguing that the unit, from a hardware perspective, is great. The brightness, colors, sound, etc., are great. From a software perspective, this product still runs Android 9.0, there's no firmware updates, and is not on the same software cycles as Android. With this, you will not be able to find certain streaming apps like Netflix, so you will have to rely on an external unit like Roku...

Good but short of great
The quality of this product is good, so is the fact that is an all in-one-projector. Literally takes minutes to set-up thanks to AndroidTV and the adjustability features. Picture quality if good, considering you can only project 1080P, with little to no motion blurriness. Sound out of the included speaker is pretty good too. Nonetheless, because the projector runs Android you need to be able to keep up with software changes, which the project fails miserably. The projector to date (Feb. 2022) is running an old version of AndroidTV (not GoogleTV) is not compatible with Netflix which will make you resort to using a Roku, FireStick, or GoogleChromecast. Firmware updates are no where to be seen and so is customer support. Lack of ethernet will probably cause problems for those not having strong WiFi signals where they place the projector.

Great Product
This replaced my Sony Bravia long throw projector which blew up shortly after buying a new lamp for it. The difference amazed me. I'm not sure of the lumen output of the Sony but we had to turn the lights almost off to get a good picture. We get a perfect picture with the lights on. A breeze to set up too.

Excellent projector for good value
I've had the LS300 for a little over six months now. Picture is very bright and at max settings is capable of handling very bightly sunlit rooms albeit with some fan noise. Most of the time, however, I'm able to run at Bright Cinema level with some tweaks 98% of the time and it looks great and fan noise is not noticeable at all. At Vivid settings and above you can start hearing the fan. My unit is set up with a 103" ALR screen (must by screen separately) and for 1080p HDR content looks very close to 4K. Keep in mind that more recent content that takes advantage of HDR really makes this shine. Older 1080p content still looks very good, but you will notice a better picture with HDR level content. Movies and regular TV are great.... sports it can suffer a little bit with some fast action judder/pixelation slightly from time to time, but again it's hard to tell if that's a signal content issue... but it's not something you don't see in most TV's still these days anyway. You just don't notice it as much with smaller screens, but at 100" plus it's certainly more noticeable. If that bothers you... you might want to look at a 4K. I still think it looks great and I'm realistic that this 1080p at 100" at a pretty good price. I don't use the onboard Android apps as I have AppleTV and other streaming options. Unit starts up very fast and has pretty quick response. Gaming is okay (according to my kids). The speakers are pretty decent, but I never use them as I have a full surround sound setup, but it is nice that if I wanted to move to a bedroom or outside... I have speakers in the unit I can rely on. Be aware that 100" or larger you will need to pull your entertainment stand out from the wall to get the distance needed. That's the dirty little secret about pretty much all UST projectors at 100" or larger... in any review or picture pay close attention to how the stand it's sitting on is pulled discretely out from the wall. That might annoy some folks, so just a warning. The part I really enjoy, however, is if someone gets up to leave, etc. you're not blocking the projected image and they're not getting blinded by the project or image. It does take some fiddling with the distance, positioning, and manual focus to get right. I don't understand those that complain as it requires no tools. Like you don't have to do that with a standard projector... or heaven forbid a ceiling mounted projector. Great projector with excellent color pop and brightness. Really brings the movie theater experience to your home at a very good price.

Epson Ls300
I bought the projector about a month ago. The picture looks amazing, but the throw was a bit disappointing. I initially was expecting to get a 120 inch picture but was unable to achieve that due to how far back I needed to pull the projector from the wall. No matter how i adjusted/moved my projector it would not yield the result i wanted in screen size.

LS300 comes home!!
Pros: Short throw allows for installatiom flexibility Onboard Android TV Bluetooth capable and allows for screen casting Great onboard sound Great picture quality for way less $$ than 4k 20,000 hour bulb life Cons: Slow continuity for action scenes at larger screen sizes (100"+) Focus toggle is on the unit but the other adjustments are on the remote Does not come with a screen When my projector arrived, I really thought the box was so large because of the packaging material. But nope, the unit was actually much bigger than I expected. After getting the unit out of the box, the quick set up instructions were easy to follow. I had the projector up and running in under 10 minutes. Adjusting the screen ratio was also pretty easy. My only complaint about the picture adjustment is that the focus is on board rather than remote controlled so you either need two people to set it up or do like I did and focus . . . . it, then back up and check your work. I placed the projector in a large sized room with lots of natural light (2 - 60" windows and a French door) and at the factory setting, the picture was more bright than even the brightest setting of my Phillips 75" TV. At the brightest setting, the picture is prestine even at 1080p. The downside to the brightest setting is the fan noise but this was not a factor for me since I left the setting at the factory mid-point and was very satisfied with it. This model did not come with a screen (a downside for this price point) so I paired it with an Elite Screen 120" fixed frame unit. The picture at the full 120" at 16:9 ratio was crisp, clear, and really gave me the movie going experience. The only downside was the fluidity of high speed frames. The focus had a hard time keeping up at this size but this issue was not as noticeable at 85". Final thoughts: For the price point at 1080p, this unit should really come with a screen; even if it's a non-fixed, folding, wrinkle free material. The 1080p resolution is perfectly fine at this size. When I compared this unit to a 4k version of the same product, spending twice as much money to get 4k was really unnecessary and did not make a huge viewing difference. The "ultra" short throw description was a little deceiving because the unit still needs to be on a console that is at least 18" deep just to support the unit. This gave me a viewing screen of about 75". To get to 100" or 120", I needed a 22-23" console or I had to pull the console considerably away from the wall. I also angled the unit up a little which allowed me to put it closer to the wall and still get a good viewing area. This required some stabilizing but meant I did not have to special order or make shift a console. I would happily recommend this product over less expensive competitive brands. This unit produces way less heat and noise and offers a crisp picture. 20,000 hours of bulb life beats having to replace a big screen TV every few years. All in all, a great value for the superb picture and sound. Very sleek since you dont have to have any additional equipment (no firestick, sound bars, etc.). Everything is onbaord!! This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS300 Smart Streaming Laser projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
