Emerald dislodged from setting

Purchased the ring Jan 6th 2024 and the stone came fell out of the setting without cause Feb 15th. I would not recommend purchasing this item because Macy will not replace the stone without your purchase of a warranty. I have purchased many rings from Macy over the past 10 years without worrying about losing a stone or purchasing a warranty.. In my opinion,this is a poor quality product and I would not waste my money purchasing. I was not able to discuss with Macy replacing the stone because their policy ONLY addresses an exchange or refund with the original tag on the item. Customer service was not friendly or knowledgable.. Again I will note the stone was dislodged without cause in my opinion due to the poor quality setting of the prongs. PLEASE HAVE THE RING QUALITY CHECKED BEFORE REMOVING THE TAGS TO AVOID ISSUE.
