Simple & perfect

Just what I was looking for- a cotton, waffle weave purple blanket. Summer weight. I sometimes forget about Macy’s when searching online for something, but lately it’s been a steady source for home goods for me. I recently got 2 sets of dishes at a great price.

Eddie Bauer olive twin cotton blanket

Thought I was buying a quality Eddie Bauer product. Took the blanket out of it’s packaging as it smelled of chemicals. Proceeded by putting it in a cold wash. Have never ever bought a blanket that shedded so much lint…. see photo. What is happening to the Eddie Bauer brand or Macy’s brand for that matter?

Terrible quality

I bought this blanket for my son who is in med school. It has created a mess of his room with the amount of “shedding” it does. He has washed and dried it several times and still the same issue. Very disappointing and a huge inconvenience for a very busy guy.

Macy's do better.

Product is overall good. I think it was a return cause there were several snags on the blanket. Since it was on sale, good price for the quality, I washed and kept.

Poor Quality

Things easily get caught in the stitching and causes pulls in the threads that makes loops that ruin the look of the blanket from the pulled threads.
