Sizing not consistent with Easy Spirit Traveltime

Travelport shoes have a different fabric upper (canvas) which is stiffer than Traveltime. Compared to Traveltime, the width fit is Much Narrower. Tried my usual size/width and the width fit like a Narrow. Tried another reviewer's suggestion of ordering a wide width and going down a half-size; the Wide width fit okay but shoe was then too short. I should have ordered my Regular size in Wide.
