Shows you what you can't even see!

We just remodeled our home and put in lots of wood flooring. We decided on the Dyson V15 Detect because it sounded like the safest way to maintain the floors. My husband put it together and has now become your biggest spoke's man. He is not only telling everyone about them, but giving them demos! The attachment for the wood floors has the most incredible iridescent light that actually makes the particles you CAN'T see glow. We would give this model a 10+. So glad we bought it!

Great bit of kit

I've had the v15 for a few weeks and it really is fabulous, a huge improvement on the v11. It's not a light vacuum and I would have preferred an on/off switch to a trigger switch, which hurts my hand after a while. I'm having a love/hate feeling about the light that highlights dust, when the hard floor roller is attached; It's fabulous for seeking out hidden dust on wooden floors, but the consequence is, there is no such thing as a "quick" run round with the vacuum! That said, once you have this function, there's no going back. I was disappointed that there was no stair tool included, for the price, but I've got around that by attaching the carpet brush head to the end of the bin, shortening it by around a metre. I can get through the downstairs using about 40% of the battery, which is 6 rooms and its not too noisy. The bin emptying is and always has been with Dyson, and issue in that you often have to pull some if the debris out and occasionally, the bin doesn't close tightly, i always have to double check this. All in all it's a super bit of kit. A little heavy and pricey, but worth it for it's cleaning performance; my floors and carpets definitely look cleaner.

Right n time is poor

Run to me is poor especially on carpet, can not clean whole house of 1300 sq fr on a single charge.

Very good vacuum

His vacuum has much improved battery life over my previous vacuum. I can now vacuum for about an hour which does the living areas upstairs and down. It is light enough to do the stairs too, and it maneuvers more smoothly despite being more heavy duty. Very pleased so far!

Amazing little vacuum

This has been the best vacuum I’ve ever purchased. This works well against the piles of pet hair and even my long hair! The green light has been eye opening! I never realized how dirty my hardwood floors actually were. Now they are almost spotless. Another thing I really love is that this is easily brought all around my house no cords needed and it lasts long enough to get my entire three bedroom house.

High performance, impressive results!

With results from our existing battery-charged hoover being so disappointing, we decided on purchasing the very expensive Dyson V15 Detect Absolute. We were truly and very highly impressed at the results from hoovering of the upstairs carpeted landing. The suction power was excellent and the visible results extremely impressive. The amount of dust and dirt was highly visible in the hoover. The state of the carpeted area was very visibly improved. 27 June 2025 - Just had new carpets laid in three rooms. The carpet fitters used our Dyson to clean up and praised it highly for the suction strength and how it left the areas so clean and tidy.

Great cordless vacuum

I love my new Dyson. Love the floor attachment with lights so able to see all the dog hair and dust. This is my 3rd cordless Dyson vacuum. I went from the 6 to the 10 and now the 15.
