DysonV12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum

Best buy ever.

This is one of my best purchases ever, I am so happy with this that I am actually vacuuming everyday. The V12 detect slim is so easy to handle and get around fixed objects it makes cleaning a breeze. I have even used it on my car and the result is fantastic.

Easier to use and better

This Dyson is super. We already had a V8 model and loved it. This one is better balanced and less tiring to use. And the lighted smooth floor cleaning head really shows the floor debris. Plus the head is smaller and gets under appliances for better cleaning. I’d heartily recommend it.

Great

I am happy with my Dyson, however, I have a all most impossible time trying to unlatch the tube that goes to the Dirt dispenser. Other than that hat issue I love the way it picks stuff up.

Barely can remove the machine from the wand

I’ve used a Dyson V8 for years. So I decided to get a newer model when the battery on my V8 became too worn out last winter. This new model is powerful and light. But! I can never easily remove the machine from the wand to clean out dust. It takes a lot…let me be clear, A LOT of effort to remove it. So skip this model if you want to keep your wrist healthy.

Very light. Initially hard to disconnect to empty dirt but it loosened up or I learned to do it better after a couple of uses. I am very happy with the vacuum.

Great Cordless Vac

Love the vacuum. All of the attachments work well but you need an organizer. Battery is only 40 mins on medium power btw. Suction is appropriate, light on the one attachment is great- would be nice on both large attachments.

Amazing vacuum, except for attachment

I absolutely love the performance of my Dyson V12 Detect Slim -- and the light on the floor attachment is amazing for seeing dust and dirt and cleaning well. However, initially the attachment was nearly impossible to get off close to the handle in order to empty the canister. It has loosened up over time and is easier now, but it was a nightmare in the beginning. Perhaps the design of how it is attached needs to be rethought. This is the only reason for four stars. Otherwise, the vacuum is amazing. Lightweight, effective, and the charge lasts for my whole house. Highly recommend.

Emptying the canister is not a snap

It works great except the canister doesn’t just slip on and off like it does in the video . It’s very difficult and makes me want to avoid emptying it . It would be better if the battery were lighter .
