Love my new Dyson Slim
Bought this vacuum on recommendation from the NY Times Wirecutter for our beach house. The cottage has all hardwood floors with a few area rugs and the Dyson works beautifully!! Tough duty as we are in the midst of repaira after flooding from Hurricane Helene but the Dyson lives up to the task!

In love!
This is the most amazing vacuum. First it is very lightweight so easy to use. The light shows hair and dust that are not visible to naked eye. A real feeling of satisfaction when finished. It is super easy to assemble. I moved into condo with wood floors. It is perfect. For a big house, probably would want something with more run time and bigger cup.

Dyson V12
Dyson V12 detect slim is a fantastic cordless stick vac that replaces our Dyson V7. The V12 is lightweight, powerful and very comfortable to use. The included fluffy head with laser light is a game changer. It shines to show the dirt and dust on tile and hardwood floors. We have tile floors throughout our home and the battery lasts through a whole house vacuuming with power to spare. This is our third Dyson and we wouldn’t use any other brand.

Overall excellent.. it has great suction and picks up most everything. My only complaint is the small dirt collector.... seems like you could have made that a little bigger without compromise....

Do Not Recommend
I bought this vacuum to replace a Dyson V11 Torque Drive that stopped working. This works, but I dislike the smaller canister and thinner tube. Further, the power button is now (stupidly) located on the front of the unit; so, you cannot quickly turn it on or off with the hand holding the vacuum. For the money, I do not recommend this vacuum.

Excellent Quality
We purchased this a few weeks ago and the performance is amazing. Dyson is by far the best quality product available in the market. The suction is top quality and it's very light weight. Super easy to use. I feel spoiled, I can't use anything else now. It's wonderful; highly recommend.

Not enough suction
Does not have the suction of my last Dyson, Was a V10 Motorhead or a V8 Motorhead. I brought it in 2019
