Excellent carpet cleaning machine. The only negative aspects is the small dust container & that the cable is rather short. When using the hose with attachment , one has to be careful of the machine tipping over.

I purchased this Dyson model to replace my Dyson DC14 upright model. This model has served me well for the past 15 years.During this time I have replaced the main hose twice & the brush roller.

Disappointed

I’m sure this product works great on some surfaces but it couldn’t cope with our (pretty ordinary) pile carpet. The suction was so strong it took a lot of muscle just to move it and the rotating brush bar kept cutting out after a few seconds. There is no manual adjustment and Dyson support couldn’t offer any solution apart from returning it to the retailer, which I did. So I have rated it as fair as I assume it would work well on hard floors or flat types of carpet but it was definitely poor for our floor.

Suction great when works

I love Dyson but I'm having an ongoing issue with the power heads seizing up and also it will only pick things up properly pulling back when pushing forward it pushes everything forward I find myself having to maneuver the vacuum around the mess to pull back over it for it to be picked up this has been an issue since buying it. It is a pain and I'm considering caning the Dyson brand all together.

Just a little vacuum with big power

I initially got this small Dyson to do quick vacuums. I now use it everyday for larger deep cleaning jobs. It’s awesome!! I can not fault it. The suction is amazing. The power head is so effective & it’s not too loud. Having two large breed hairy dogs, I think I’ve converted to Dyson!

Fabulous Vacuum!

I hope I never have to buy another vacuum again. I scored this one at a crazy low price with all offers combine. This vacuum is easy to use, even on hardwoods steps! I have had it for a few weeks now and I have 0 complaints.

HARD TO PUSH.

GOOD SUCTION, BUT VERY HARD TO PUSH ALONG CARPET OUR OLD SHARK PUSHED MUCH SMOTHER

Talk about sucking (NOT THE DIRT)

I’ve owned my Dyson for 5 years but it broke apart in less then 4. This was not a cheap vacuum! I spent $300 on this piece of crap. Suction is horrible and the attachments/hose are worthless. Small plastic pieces starting breaking off and I didn’t know were they were coming from until I used the hose and realized they were parts that held the vacuum up when you used the hose...impossible to use without this part, as the vacuum falls over. Plus the hose is too short. It might have been ok for the first year but after that I had nothing good to say while using it. I wouldn’t waste my money on another Dyson. Thought these were suppose to be top of the line vacuums...not!
