Amazing clean

I bought this recently to replace my V11. I have 2 cats so vacuum regularly. I couldn't believe how much the Gen 5 showed up! Very happy with the purchase.

The best ever dyson

This is the best ever Dyson I’ve ever bought, i absolutely love it.. Can’t believe how much dust and other things are in the carpet even after using my old one! And sugar!! The kitchen floor surprised me…..! So much you can’t see, brilliant piece of equipment. I’m very happy.. and fewer sneezes..

Effective but some important drawbacks

Pleased with the cleaning and power. A little disappointed in the battery capacity, run time on auto mode on carpet is only around 20 minutes not nearly close to the advertised 70. The charging time is also quite long. So 20 minutes of cleaning followed by 4 hours of charging! Can get a little heavy when using the attachments that aren't floor based such as the mini motor head. The wand also scratches quite easily, doesn't effect the usability of it but starts to look untidy very quickly. The maneuverability in tight spaces is difficult due to the small wheels and sometimes rickety feeling connection to the wand.

Unreliable

Pathetic, have replaced the head three times in last 9 months, still they haven’t offered me to change the model The rotator on the sides always comes off while manoeuvring on carpet Worst model ever

Great vacuums but little heavy

They are good, but painful to change . Battery life is good but heavy. Filter is good.maneuverability is not so comfortable on carpet. Vacuuming is excellent . Attachments are okay changing is not that pleasant
