Worth it
Love this vacuum. It may not get all the cat hair off the black area rug, but it does an awesome job on the hardwood & the rest of the carpet. One of the best investments I ever made.

Not as good as others companies robots
I do not have a good experience with 2 identical robots cleaners. It did not pick up even visible rubbish, it gets stuck and confused.

Navigation is good but not great. It frequently immediately returns to the docking station after being given a command. If I pick it up and place it in the proper zone, it finishes the task.

Best robot vacuum I have had.
I looked at this vacuum for sometime before buying it and had concerns about its mapping abilities. I have now used it 3 times - I followed the directions for the initial mapping carefully and that has helped. I find that my Dyson does a great job of cleaning and goes back to sections it omitted or that needed further cleaning. I have run it on auto so it can learn where the maximum cleaning is needed. I am very happy with this robot and my worries about its mapping limitations - based on other reviews - were allayed quickly. My one reservation is that it does not have the ability to avoid 'cliff' edges, that is, the top of stairs or edges of balconies and so on. I don't have a balcony, but I do have a second storey which gives off to descending stairs. Most robot vacs have the capacity to sense edges and stay away from them, but Dyson warns users to block edges while using the 360 vis nav. This should be addressed by Dyson. If it can avoid stairs, I would be looking to buy another unit for my second storey! This is the reason I gave 4, rather than 5 stars. I like that it has hepa filtration. It is noisy but as a trade off, it does a super job picking up dust and allergens. Battery needs to recharge once to complete my entire floor area, but I am glad of how thorough the the cleaning is. Glad to have this unit.

Great suction
The Vis Nav is the third robotic style vacuum I have owned and after a few weeks of use I can honestly say that it is by far the best. My main need was picking up animal hair and it does a great job at doing this. It will also, with ease, grab the cat food morsels on the floor as well. It’s not a very loud machine compared to the others I have owned. The mapping process is fairly straight forward and I love the fact that I can set restrictions in my home such as vertical blinds that touch the floor and cat food bowls. I am not 100% convinced that the sensors are all they are supposed to be. I have seen the vacuum fly right by particles a few times and not pick them up. All in all, the ONLY complaint I have is that I received a grey colored dock and the advertisement online clearly showed a matching blue nickel dock. It’s not aesthetically pleasing.

Amazing
Amazing!! I have been using for a month and it is doing a great job. It mapped the whole house. It does need light, it doesn't like working in the dark. I don't have an issue with that.

Terrible product at a ridiculously high price.
I bought this machine in May 2025 and the first one sent to me I was told after a lengthy phone call it had a factory defect and that o could exhange it. So that’s what I did. Second machine came and it wouldn’t do anything other that display said “remove from dock to power off” very disappointed in this Dyson machine. For the price of it you’d think it would be better quality. I only gave it 1 star because 0 stars wasn’t and option.

Horrible navigation
I bought this three weeks ago and have been running it daily. It has yet to successfully complete a job after running more than twenty times. Each job returns with a lifted error or drop sensor error. I regret buying it.
