The perfect tool!

I have tried them all! Dyson dryers and drybar models however I decided to buy the smooth shot paddle because it was offered for 1/3 of the original price at a local MARSHALLS. I am thrilled that this dries my hair straight and I no longer have to use a flat iron! This tool is the best! So freaking happy I bought it! I have color treated hair so the least amount of heat tools is better and I am definitely 💯 pleased with this one! Thanks Drybar!

Great Dryer

I bought the wrong dryer. My daughter sent me a link for an oval dryer. Not sure how I got it so wrong and bought the paddle dryer. That said I do love the dryer. Lightweight, easy to use and does a great job on my hair, Quick drying. Just have to use a separate dryer for my bangs. The paddle makes them too flat. I will eventually purchase the oval dryer. My mistake but a great dryer nonetheless.

It’s ok

It is bulky and not very powerful. I noticed little difference between this and the regular blow dryer I have. It did keep my hair straight but it was cumbersome and I didn’t feel enough control of the wand with my fine hair.

Not What I Expected Unfortunately

Unfortunately, this looked ideal but ended up being much harder to use than the oval design because your hair won't stick to the paddle without you using your hand and getting it really hot, or, using another brush for guidance. Looked like a fast solution and it's not as you'd imagine.

Great smoother for frizzy hair!

Happy I purchased this! Dries nicely and smooths out well. Can’t use on wet hair as it takes way too long to dry, so I either let my hair air dry for a while or use my regular dryer and finish at the end with the Smooth Shot.

Pretty but not worth the hype

Purchased the smooth shot paddle brush dryer at a great discount about 2 weeks ago. I have thick course slightly wavy East Asian hair. Used twice. Meh. Average. The last 2-3 rows of vents on the paddle didn’t blow hot or cold air. Handle is thick. Cut down hair styling time by about 30%, but I can see the dryer damaging hair with regular use (even with hair protection sprays). Will try to return.
