Deepen Your Prayer Life

Bought this book expecting more of a 'how to' aspect where each devotional day would culminate into a more accurate way to pray circles. It was less of a 'how to' and more of a daily devotional that spotlighted parts of the original book The Circle Maker. While that was disappointing (and earned it 4 stars), this book did great things for me. 1) I intentionally prayed and stayed in scripture for the full 40 days (and have since restarted this). So it has ignited my faith and drawn my attention to books/verses I haven't otherwise deeply read. 2) I coupled each day's reading with prayer journaling - a practice I've done for 2 years. Approaching journaling from the daily devotional has given me different perspectives that have enriched my understanding of the word. I would highly recommend this devotional to deepen your prayer life - but don't expect a clear-cut 'how to' when it comes to Mark's style of prayer (some guidance even contradicts itself!).
