Classy but very heavy

The dress is very well-made and it is a very classic cream and black polkadot, but it is heavy. The dress is lined both the bottom and the top and it is not cut for a full figure girl. It’s cut more for someone with a pear shape body. The way the box neck top is cut it doesn’t give enough room for your bust. I ordered a size 16 and I am a 40 DDD if I wear a girdle I can get it zipped up but it snug in the waist too. I really wanted this to work but it needs to go back boo-hoo. This is definitely a cool weather dress so if you order it, I would recommend getting a blazer to wear over the shoulders and takeoff when you’re inside definitely not hot weather dress - the weight of the dress would be too much. Four star only because it doesn’t fit correctly for my body type.

A beautiful and feminine dress

What a beautiful dress. It’s pure femininity without looking frilly.Donna Karen knows how to cut this to make a mature woman look as good as a young woman wearing it. The linen is high-quality, the polkadots are subtle. This can be worn to brunch or a nice evening event depending how you style it. True to size and well worth it! I hope she brings it back and other patterns as well. I would buy every single one of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fell in love with this dress on the hanger and the moment I tried this on I knew I had to have it. It's the perfect dress for spring summer and even fall. It's giving europe but also farmer's market or brunch or baby shower. I am styling this with a silk organza scarf for an event coming up. Beautiful!

Polka dot dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dress is absolutely lovely. Perfect fit. Bought a size 8 and fits a size 8. I'm 5'6. The linen is a bit heavy.The skirt it pleaded. The top is lined. I have a black cropped jacket if it gets a bit chilly.
