Beautiful coat. Runs large.

This coat is beautiful and has very pretty details, but it runs large. I'm 5'6, 128lbs and the small swallowed me. I do have trouble with double breasted coats overwhelming me for some reason even though I am not petite, but this one really looked huge. I would size down to the XS but I still think something about the proportions of it will overwhelm me. I'd love a single breasted trench but they are difficult to find so I tried this one. It really may just be me because I've tried about 8 over the years and none have worked. The only ones that fit me properly are my single breasted ones from Talbot's. This coat appears very well made and I actually liked that it was polyester instead of cotton so it won't wrinkle as badly. It does have a slight sheen to it with the polyester but it in no way looks cheap.
