Creative Concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a child that loves STEM based projects/toys then this model engine kit will make an amazing gift for them. I really like this cool and creative concept of dIY replica of four cycle internal combustion gasoline car engine for kids. Its a good hands on activity and will help kids in getting an idea of how the four cycle internal combustion gasoline car engine works. That being said, it will not be easy for young children to do this project by themselves because of all the parts involved. I have to help my child in setting it up. Everything is included in the kit. The finished project is good for teaching kids about how the car engine works. Its an innovative STEM based toy.

Thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old worked on this kit all by herself about an hour a day for 5 days. She really enjoyed doing it and thought that the end result was very cool. The instructions were good as she was able to do it herself without any help from either parent. Definitely a great kit to get little minds going!

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great thing for little boys and even girls to learn how to put a engine together you never know when you will need to know how I wish I would have seen this when my kids were little but my son enjoyed it

Fun to watch build!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little engine has been so fun to put together. It has EVERY piece that a real engine has. From timing belts to spark plugs. It has fan clutches and even gaskets for the oil pan. After built is works. This is wonderful for anybody that wants to learn to build actual engines. My husband and children now want to be mechanics.

Super cool toy for 10+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 6 so this is a little too much for him, but my 9 year old daughter thinks it's pretty cool. My husband is super handy and good with cars and taking things apart, so this is a great way for him to teach our kids about his interests. I've even learned a bunch too. Highly recommended.

Good learning toy. Will need parents help probably

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons enjoyed this kit. The box said 8 and up but there was a few steps my husband had to step in and help with (and also pull out a different screw driver than what was included). Some of the screws are very very small and can be tricky for the kids. Besides that, it was a cool toy and my kids liked seeing the inner workings of and engine. I was quite surprised at how much my 6 year old learned while helping put this together and he has been explaining pistons and compression and all sorts of things to anyone that will listen

Excellent hands on learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether you homeschool or just need a project to work on over the summer, this is really a wonderful way for kids to learn how things work. My boys have really enjoyed spending a few minutes each night with father putting this engine together. They haven’t finished it yet, but they’re close and they only work on it here and there. They’re already talking about the next project, so I’ll have to see what else is available from this company. What an excellent hands on learning resource!

Great for gear head kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old is obsessed with cars so this is a great and fun activity we did that gave him a better idea how an egine works and also a great subsititution vs building another block set. If your kid is 7-9, they will likely need help from a parent, which to me is a highlight and fun.
