Pretty good little kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a simple kit that does just enough to keep it interesting, but not so much that the kids can't do it by themselves. They were way more interested in the light than the rocket, but I don't know why. My kids are weird. :)

Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was fun while trying to figure out the wiring. But once it was wired it didn't do much. Good for circuit lesson, and probably good for a teacher or a child that is very interested in figuring out how to make things work. Just not what I expected.

Great educational experiment set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this Circuitry Action Experiment toy together with my 5 year old nephew who is a bit more advanced then the average 5 year old. He really enjoyed learning the basics of electricity and ultimately building something that actually worked. I would say that i wish it was a little more involved as I feel he completed it rather quickly and then moved on. Overall, really cool activity for young kids

Great Summer Toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8 year old son to help with some summertime boredom. He loved it! He had a great time building the rocket. It worked great! He loved launching it! Quality product and easy to follow directions that he could complete on his own.

Instructions lacking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be having my 8 and 10 year old grandsons visit me this summer and I thought this would be a good activity for them. I have opened it and put it together to make sure that Grandma could be of help to them if they needed it. The print on the instruction is small as compared to the other side where the print is much larger for additional activities not related to this circuit board. The instructions looks more of the size that an adult would encounter putting together an appliance or a bench. The instructions should have been more child attractive and numbered like the additional unrelated activites on the back side of the instructions. There are good graphics and a child could put this together without the verbage. But one drawback is that the wires on the underneath side of the siren and robot are in the way of mounting them on the circuit board. The other components, on/off switch, battery case and spring connectors all mount easily onto the circuit board. In order for the robot and light to securly to the circuit board, the wires must be threaded through the hole underneath and the wires to be brought up through another hole to secure them into the spring connector. Because the other components easily fit into the holes, boys especially (at least my "I want to do this fast" grandsons) will try to cram the wires and robot and light into the hole without threading them through the hole potentially breaking the wires from the item itself. There is no mention of this in the instructions. Even the graphics look like the wires come out from underneath the robot or light itself and not threaded though the hole. There is not an indention on the bottom of the light or siren to allow the wires to be come out from the bottom of those. Other than the reasons mentioned above, I believe they will have fun with this but once they have connected the robot and then the siren, they will be all done with it. There should be other experiments included in this set for children to use with this circuit set as the activities on the opposite of the instructions are unrelated to the circiut set.

Learning and fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Discovery #Mindblown Action Circuitry Rocket Launch Experiment STEM Science Kit for my daughter. She is very into STEM based things and just loves rockets! The set came with everything we needed to get going and had easy to follow instructions. We worked on it together and before we knew it it was countdown to launch! The rocket shot off beautifully and I have never seen my daughter so full of pride and joy. Thank you Discovery for making a STEM kids day.
