Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for for a while now and I enjoy it very much. It is loud so I keep it set up in the garage to cut down on noise as each step runs for several days. The process of going from raw to polished stones is fun to watch happen.

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this rock tumbler for my nephew for his birthday because he is so into rocks and has a camp on the beach so he has plenty to choose from. He absolutely loves it but took awhile to make him understand it's a long process. It can take one to two days to tumble them. It can be loud so they keep it in the basement to tumble but it seems to be a great gift for children who love rocks.

SO MUCH FUN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is a little under three, so this is still a bit "big" for her still... But, I've always loved rocks and fossils, and recently I've discovered she shares this love. I was wanting to find something to make it a little more fun for her, and expand it a bit from my typical fossil hunts... and I thought a rock tumbler would be the perfect way to do that! One thing that's not great (for her or me, hahaha) is the time it takes to do the entire process--each step can last multiple days, depending on the hardness of the rocks. BUT, it's a really neat tool to help with developing sorting skills, as while a batch is tumbling, and we begin to find more rocks, we can sort the ones we have and prepare the next group. For older kids, I think this would be a great tool for teaching patience and delayed gratification/the time required for desired results. And, here I am, as an adult, having an absolute blast. So, with proper adult assistance and supervision, this is really great for just about any age (as long as they're to the age where they don't try to eat the stones, haha.) It's a really effective machine, especially for a beginning/recreational level. You can't do a whole lot at once, but the other side of that is that it's more quiet than larger ones (we have an enclosed porch area we run it in). It's made really well, includes fun literature/poster, and I really love that it has the findings to turn polished stones into jewelry and keychains....By that token, I think it really appeals to a variety of kids' interests and can be a great family activity!

Fun and informative
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit certainly gives you everything you need to dive into rock tumbling ...even some rocks! There are also key chain and necklace mountings which is a nice bonus. We really enjoyed selecting the rocks and putting them in the tumbler --we really had to practice out patience as we waited the long 5 days to get them out! They turned out beautiful and everyone was happy although we did have to relocate the tumbler a few times as it has to run continuously which was a bit distracting in some rooms. Turns out the garage was best!

Solid build, works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is a science teacher and she loves showing her students the process of tumbling stones. She has gone through several other tumblers until this one! This product has stood up to six classes so far and shows no signs of slowing down! I highly recommend this tumbler!

A great craft for kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try this as a throw back to when I was a kid. Great activity to teach kids about erosion with an extra benefit to teach patience. The rocks supplied are all different kinds so you get different results. I must say though that it’s not necessary to tumble the full 7 days as suggested. 2-3 will work too.

Good so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old has been very into rocks, so we were excited to try this. While he's having a hard time learning that it's a long process and not instant results, I've been happy with it so far. It's not as noisy as the one I remember when I was younger, but it is tumbling rocks so it can't be quiet. We just set it up on our back porch. We're excited to get to the last stage and use the rest of the kit to make our stones wearable.

So much fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super fun. My kids really love making smooth rocks to make jewlery . They also love to make them and give them to friends as gifts. My mom and Dad have even enjoyed it. At frist it was hard for the kids as it takes a long time for the rocks to be ready, but once they see the end product for the frist time its worth it.
