Disappointing and doesn't work well

The metal detector needs you to hover 1 inch (and not 6 inches as described) above a metal object...and sometimes it beeps, but a lot of times it doesn't. The accompanying flash light would not turn off and had 2 options: dim and bright. Batteries would die very quickly! The purchase was very disappointing and frustrating, and my son was very upset.

Not Good

This metal detector was purchased for 9 year old grandson and stopped working after first use. We changed the batteries but it still will not work - definitely not worth the money.
