Missing most parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a while ago as my 19yo and I like to try different crafts (never have done string art before), but due to her college and work schedule, my work schedule, and my getting Covid-19, we are just now able to open it up to have some fun mom/daughter time. Unfortunately, we opened up the box to find there are no pins, pin sleeves, string, lights, paint, sponge brush, thumb protector, or self-adhesive strip. So disappointed! Mad at myself for not checking the contents when I got it, but as the box wasn't damaged, I assumed all was there.

Fun & Easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the girls in our family are artistic in one way or another and since my 12 year old daughter decided it was time SHE got to decorate her room, herself; this little lighting project was a perfect starting point. She got to put it together/build it on her own, so important at this age; when they are too old for full parental supervision but not old enough to be left completely on their own. Easily built and she got to see her own talent in lights. It is also a perfect night light! She couldn't stop smiling once it was hung on the wall and I was beaming with pride that such a lovely project could build confidence, something every pretty teen and teenager needs.

Great activity

Great teen or preteen project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Discovery Girls DIY String Art kit turned out to be a great quarantine project. My teen is always looking for new, “cool” things for her bedroom. This was one she actually made herself and she loved the fact that it came with the little lights. It fits perfectly into her room motif!

Great busy project!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great project to keep an older child busy for awhile! There are pins that you push into the board and then wrap the string around by following a template. The lights are an added bonus to add some flare to the board! I like that there is also a stencil kit that be added as a boarder. My daughter is 12 and loved working on this!

Wonderful
