beautiful but boke in mere days

When I opened the box I thought these were some of the most beautiful inexpensive earrings I ever purchased. I loved them. 2 weeks later the top popped off one of the stems so I took them back to Macy's were they were easily replaced, this pair is so cheap looking with dead flat looking stones in them. One time trying to put on and the stem is bent. Back to Macy's again in that return crisis mode before 30 day receipt is up! So junkie looking, What happened!!!
