Excellent Cotton shower curtain - classic design

I wanted a 100 percent cotton shower curtain that looked classic and simple - this one fit the bill.

Shrank by 6 inches!

The fabric is not linen-like, as I had assumed from the photos, but is a soft waffle-weave, like long underwear. Not the classy look I wanted. It had a chemical smell, so I washed it, following the directions: “machine wash warm, tumble dry low, remove immediately.” I took it out of the dryer while still damp and let it air dry. Went to hang it again, and it was 6” shorter! Glad Macy’s has easy returns, but not glad for the extra hassle on a product that has mostly great reviews.

The color is not turquoise but more seafoam.

Shrank Horribly

It was absolutely gorgeous until I washed it. I washed it per the instructions (cold water, etc) and it shrank to less than half the size.

Shower curtain shrunk badly!

I am returning this shower curtain. It was expensive and looked so nice in ad. When I received the shower curtain it was extremely wrinkled. I hung it and washed it after a month in cold water, no dryer and it shrunk and least 4”.
