These are my “ride or die” jeans

Love the fit, the comfort, the flattering bit of shaping, the clean design. The waist doesn’t gap due to the flat elastic inside (nobody but you knows it’s there). The straight legs look current in what suddenly feels like a bewildering sea of style and cut choices. I have purchased quite a few of these jeans due to some unexpected weight loss, and they have fit my shape well at each size. I have tried a few other Democracy jeans styles, too, and these seem to be “the ones”. That said, a few of the blue shades I have not liked due to the heavy-handed amount of added aging and wear patterns. They are too contrasting and artificial looking. Look closely at the denim options before ordering, because the pictures are pretty true to what you get in terms of whiskering, placement of thready bits, etc.

Great But Not High Rise Jeans

Love Democracy jeans! Super soft, molds to your shape (gaps) and flattering to your body. However, these jeans are mid-rise (9”) not high rise (10+”) as described. Comparing the product descriptions with other high-rise jeans I bought from Democracy - they are not the same fit. Otherwise, lovely jeans! I had to return them.
