Ok for dry grind not for wet

It works ok as a dry grind but if a little water, it leaks from the bottom of the jar.

No, you should not use water with the Cuisinart SG-10 Spice & Nut Grinder. The grinder is not designed to be immersed in water and doing so could damage it. It is specifically designed for dry spices, nuts, and similar dry ingredients. Cuisinart

A winner.

Well Made

Works extremely well. Use 3 - 4 times a week, especially on peppercorns, cinnamon sticks. I use it to blend other spices together. This was a replacement grider, previous grinder lasted 15 years. Only issue is the new grinder is slightly larger and a little difficult to remove from the shelf.

Small and Mighty. Gets the job done FAST.

This is my new favorite Cuisinart appliance. True to the Cuisinart name, this is top quality. It's so easy to work, and does a beautiful job of chopping very quickly. And for making ground spices out of whole spices, oh my goodness! It works like magic. They turn out with a marvelous fine texture with no clumps. This is such a time saver. I'm very impressed with this hard worker. I'm telling all my friends about this one.
