Crispy veggies

Best of the best, the brand name says it all. I love how it steams the vegetables and not leaves them soggy but crispy and flavorful.

Works

This microwave steamer seems to work well, which surprised me, as another steamer I bought previously microwaved the vegetables more than it steamed. It does take some experimenting with cooking time to get it just right with each type of food. One additional bonus (actually, two) is that steamer basket doubles as a medium-sized colander and the bowl can be used as a serving bowl for chips and other snacks.

Great microwave steamer

Works perfectly! Large enough to steam longer items like asparagus or long string beans. SO much easier than using a stove-top steamer. Love it.

I love this steamer so much that I've bought two more for important people in my life. It holds a good amount of food, steams it quickly, and cleans up easily. I like the quality of the product. The plastic material is sturdy and holds up well.

Great for small households

This steamer is great for a one or two person household. It's perfect for cabbage and broccoli and only takes a few minutes - 2 for broccoli and 31/2 for cabbage (quarter of a head broken up into pieces). Just add salt, pepper and butter!
