A Powerful Food Processor

I purchased this 14 cup Cuisinart because my 30 yr. old Cuisinart gave out, the center post cracked :-( This 14 cup motor is powerful, it features a nice clean design, it still fits in same spot on my counter top with no interference with cabinet above, it has a larger feed tube, and easy to clean by hand if need be. The shredding blade was a huge disappointment. I was shredding carrots for a cake and the blade made a pile of spongy compacted mess. Thank goodness I didn't give away or dispose of any of my old blades which fit this new machine. I also feel that the new bowl is not the same quality as my old one, so I will continue to wash by hand.....no big deal for me. All in all it is a good food processor.

Only Cuisinart!

This purchase was to replace a worn out Cuisinart food processor. This is the workhorse in my kitchen. Cuisinart is the only brand I would consider from past experience.

Impressed so far!

I only used it to shred cheese so far, but it's almost worth it for that alone. I froze the block of cheddar for a few minutes, drop it in the chute, and it was perfectly shredded in like three seconds. Can't wait to use it to make salsa and soups and whatever else!

A classic workhorse

Great quality, simple paddle operation, minimal grooves or areas where food particles can get stuck. Cleanup is simple and easy! I wish the large food pusher didn't have the safety feature, but I get why it's there. Still way faster than having to chop everything by hand!

REPLACE OLD WITH A NEW

I purchased an orginal version of the cuisinart food processor many years ago. When the old unites gave up I had to buy another. Could not live without it.
