Almost perfect.

I'd give 5 stars, but this purchase was to replace my previous Cuisinart 12 Cup Programmable that only lasted 2 1/2 years. I love the fact that there is no pot to use & clean. I only wish the durability were better.

Not up to the standards of our previous Cuisinart

Disappointed that the carafe doesn't come out easily - it gets stuck on the rubber gasket on the bottom of the grounds basket.

Excellent substitution

I got this model as a substitution for the model I had that just went kaput one day. I could not be happier with the functionality that is the same as my other model, but more so with the added functions. It has a pause and serve feature along with a setting to adjust the flavor to "bold". I am very happy that this came with all of my expectations and more!

Coffeemaker pot leaks everytime you pour a cup

I only have one issue with the coffeemaker - you cannot pour a cup of coffee without it spilling - I had the coffeemaker that had the side for hot water for tea or whatever and never had a problem with that one - my new one, you have to pour the cup of coffer over the sink because it spills so much - seems to be a design flaw.
