This is our third Cuisinart coffee maker. The last one worked hard daily for almost 5 years. It makes great coffee using the "bold" setting. You can't go wrong with this coffeemaker

Disappointed no light feature behind clock. So use to have one first thing in morning!!! Love the feature to turn up heat in plate! I love Hot coffee!!

Finicky brew basket
You have to very careful that the filter basket is properly in place or the brewing coffee will backup into the reservoir, making quite a mess. Once that’s under control, it’s a great coffee maker.

Bummed Out
Although I love the look of this coffee maker, the waterpump seems to be going out after 7 months. I am so sad. I love this maker. The coffee is delicious.

Coffee pot great When Working; Short lifespan
I really like the actual coffee maker and the carafe shape is good. BUT, I've had 3 replacements under the 3 year warranty! My old Cuisinart coffee maker worked for over 15 years. The 1st of these units lost all the white writing on the buttons so I couldn't read what each button was for. Replacement #2 and #3 had a problem with "failed seals" where the water poured into the reservoir came pouring out of the bottom of the machine and all over my counter. There is No Fix for that problem. I fixed the disappearing writing issue by applying Clear Nail polish to each button. This Brand New unit came with a scuffed hot plate and customer service told me if the plate was working that was good enough and if all the finish came off of the plate in the future or it stopped working "contact us to get the coffee maker replaced under the 3 year warranty". Oh brother!

Coffee quality
Seriously makes better coffee than my older machine. I tried this at a friend's house and bought one. Not one bit disappointed! I just wish the water quantity marks were on the front.

Very pleased!
Makes great coffee. I think it looks lovely sitting on the countertop. Love the fact that it is programmable and keeps coffee extra hot! The one issue I had was the time delay and clock buttons stopped working. Cuisinart customer service was easy to work with - getting a replacement coffee maker was easy and prompt. I would definitely recommend this coffee maker.

Product quality
Nice looking design, but feels rather plasticy. The carafe is glass which is nice, but rest feels not high quality. After less than 1-month the stopper on the funnel/ filter stopped working and when you remove the carafe the drips are large. Purchased a replacement funnel / we’ll see how long this one lasts.
