Bagel bummer

I returned two of these unit and kept my twelve year old version. I returned the units because the first one did not toast evenly and the bagel button did nothing when pressed. The second one toasted more evenly but the bagel button also did nothing. Pretty disappointing. I will seek a different brand.

A Great Toaster!

This is my 2nd Cuisinart 4-slice toaster. We wore the first one out after several years, but I was so pleased with that one, that I purchased the exact double as a replacement!

Great Toaster

Probably the best toaster we have owned. Only issue so far is the cord is very short. Hardly enough to pull it out from under the cabinet when using it. It is a 4 slice but instead of 2 very long slots it has 4 medium size slots which works great unless you want to toast a very long slice of bread. The toaster is fast and toast evenly.

Lasts forever

We got this to replace the same model and make toaster that we'd had for at least 20 years. The first one got a lot of use and finally stopped working only because a lever knob wore out. It was a wonderful toaster and we look forward to the same reliability and durability with this one.

Cuisinart 4 slice toaster

My old 4 slot toaster finally died after about 45 years of service. I can't speak to the life span of this new toaster but in all other aspects it is a great toaster. First AND most important is that it toasts evenly. It also is pretty fast. I like the stainless steel case... easy to clean and matches the stainless of my dish washer, stove, refrigerator, etc. It does take thin or thick bread or bagels. The only con is that the crumb trays are removed from the back and not the front. You have to rotate the toaster to gain access to the crumb tray.
