disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this toaster about a month ago. Not what I expect from Cuisinart. The toast and english muffins don't pop up high enough even when you push the handle. Have singed fingers trying to get it out and often have to use a fork or knife to lift out the toast or muffin

Great Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st time I used this toaster I couldn't believe how evenly it toasted the bread, end to end & top to bottom. And it's been consistent ever since... One of the best gifts I've received!

Disappointment

My last Toaster was a Cuisinart. I had it a really long time it performed well but stopped toasting evenly. (This very same toaster is now being marketed under Waring brand name.) This toaster, I am reviewing, is cheaply made, does not give the same shade consistency, it does no pop up high enough to get the toast out without having to stick tongs down into the toaster. I did not find this out until I tried it and therefore was unable to return it. I would not recommend this toaster.

Do NOT BUY! Unless you love to feed the ants.

The Good - The toaster toasts just fine. I have no problem with the toasting . The Bad: This toaster has a slide out tray at the bottom for the crumbs. But there are other holes or openings at the bottom of the toaster that let crumbs fall out. Every time I move the toaster to clean the counter or to unplug it from the wall- there are a ton of toasted crumbs on the countertop that fall out of the bottom of the toaster ! How in the world does that happen?? The slide out tray is still in. Even after the tray gets cleaned I can tap the toaster on the counter and a ton of crumbs come flying out of the bottom. All I can think of is all the ants will starting marching into my kitchen for their tasty meals! I have only had this for 3 months and I decided we will not use this anymore Unfortunately it is past the return date. Somebody in the Cuisinart design department needs to look at this toaster and test it for them selves.

Meh..

Toasts OK but really cheap, cheezy knobs and action. Cuisinart used be a reliable in the quality department. I bought this to replace a very cheap toaster my husband bought but really not much better quality than the one costing half as much.
