CuisinartCPT-122 2-Slice Compact Toaster

So far, so good!

Toaster is nice and light and is toasting well. The additional buttons are all working as designed. I did follow the directions to redirect the cord underneath, and it works just fine on our counter. No complaints, and the price was great!

Light/dark toast control seems faulty

The toaster mechanism seems to function well enough, but the dial for lighter/darker toast is very loose. It changes position if accidentally touched. It almost seems to be disconnected from any controls—it might as well be non-functional.

Defective toaster this time

I apparently got a defective toaster this time. It either burnt the bread to black at 3 & didn't even warm the bread at 1 or two. The bread holders didn't stay in the middle either. I ended up returning it for a refund. I have had Cuisinart toasters in the past & they were always great, so I rated this 2 stars because it was a fluke in my past experience with Cuisinart toasters & the rest of the Cuisinart products I have owned over the years. Cuisinart has always been a trusted brand, but this toaster was a disappointment. I will still buy other Cuisinart products in the future.

Mediocre toaster

The toaster does not toast evenly. One side of the bread or bagel is burnt and other side is barely toasted.

Good buy

This is a very good toaster for the money. I have had other toasters but this is the best. very light weight.

One sided toast

This would be a great toaster except for one major flaw. It only toasts one side of the bread. After it pops up, you have to flip the bread over to toast the other side. Both sides heat elements work, but the inside one is very weak.

Great toaster

I am very impressed with this toaster. It has bagel, defrost, reheat settings.

I wish the slide that you lock in would connect better than it is ! Sometimes it takes pulling the connection to toast does not hold at the bottom to get the heating element to work! We might need to return and get a replacement!
