Wonderful well made Microwave!

Defective New Oven

Very sad to report our beautiful new oven was defective. I tested the oven repeatedly using the different controls, following the manual. Nothing worked to make a hot beverage or even defrost one ice cube. I called Cuisinart to help troubleshoot but could not resolve the issue. Had to repack and return. Very disappointed.

Bought a little more than a month ago and it sometimes stops and power goes off and I have to unplug and plug in again. It will also trip the grounded outlet. It has happened about 4 times.

Microwave Return

I deeply regret having to return this product but it is defective. The engineering is wrong because the microwave top is hot and it drains the moisture from whatever is being cooked. I have tried using different types of food but it still cooks too dry for a processed food or doesn't quite cook evenly. There is moisture all inside the microwave and the glass tray slips off track easily. The glass tray is hot when it shouldn't be for 5 minutes.
