Cuisinart Coffee Maker

We truly love the coffee/hot water set up, but dislike the fact there’s no “on” or “ready “ light. I also don’t like the absence of a heating element to keep the coffee hot and it cools down faster than expected.

Very Pleased

Awesome!!! Love the ability to make a full pot of coffee (more ounces per "cup" than my old 10 cup maker) AND make as many things that use hot water at the smae time. The hot water side heats up very quickly and better than boiling water, usually for too long and burning your mouth. Unless you enjoy doing that to yourself. We purchased it in December and use it everyday. Absolutely love it.

Broke, warranty still in effect, backordered.

We loved our coffee/hot water maker but the hot water portion stopped working after a month. Warranty still effective but it has been backordered for quite a while. So, no coffee maker.

Another nice Cuisinart Coffeemaker

I like everything about this coffeemaker. The only thing I don’t care for is that after about an hour, the coffee is not as hot as I would like it to be like when it first finishes brewing. Otherwise, a great coffeemaker and the side hot water feature makes heating up hot water for tea or cocoa works great!

Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted to move away from my single serve Keurig and after reading a lot of reviews and exploring different options, I had decided on this one. I was somewhat discouraged by some of the negative reviews and when this maker sold out from the online retailer I wanted to purchase from I almost got something else. We aren’t huge coffee drinkers only needing about 1-3 cups per day, but I also like tea, especially in the colder months. I like that I can have both without having two machines taking up counter space. I love that it has a reusable basket, as reducing waste was one reason I wanted a drip pot. I love the auto brew feature and the stainless carafe is great for keeping it warm since I set it for my husband who is up a few hours before me. I’ve temped the coffee several times after it has sat for 2-4 hours and it is still at least 135. Actually I forgot about it the first night when I wanted to test with just hot water and the next day it was still at least 120 so the carafe keeps it nice and warm. I’ve had zero issues with hot water tasting like coffee like some reviews said. It makes a tasty cup of coffee and is easy to use and clean. My only complaint is that you really have to tip the carafe almost upside down to get the coffee to pour out, which is kinda annoying but probably needed to be able to keep it so hot for so long. Another selling point is cuisinart customer service. I had another one of their appliance go out on me after only two years and they shipped me a brand new one.

Coffee plus 10 cup water system review

The disappointing part was the plastic taste from the hot water system. Cleaned with vinegar and several water baths and still have a slight plastic taste.

Expected more

Not so great. Coffee is not consistent in brew. Same coffee. Same amount coffee and water.

Not worth it.

This coffee pot, more than any other I have ever had, leaves SO much sediment in the bottom of my glass. Unlike our prior pots w/ metal carafe, this one seems to keep the coffee less hot. While I appreciate the sleek look, it's actually pretty tricky to get the water in to the coffee side water well. The water feature is nice, but not worth it for an otherwise less than stellar coffee pot. Would not buy again or recommend... I am bummed I missed the change to return it.
