Simple design and easy to take in and out
I bought the item about a month ago and we like it. We use it when entertaining for the extra hot plates. The unit is easy to put away when not in use. We did notice that the smaller burner takes a very long time before water boils and when it does it is not raging, However, the larger burner does a much better job.

Countertop double burner- great unit and buy.
We are in the process of renovating our kitchen and this unit really fits and meets the tasks. Nice unit. Heats up quickly and distributes the heat evenly. The smaller burner does boil water but simmers and keep content warm. Easy to clean and cools down quicker than i though it would when we turn it off.

The perfect workhorse
Outstanding, the cast iron burners are robust, the body of the burner itself is well made. This thing has been in continuous use and if it can live with me. There’s nothing you can do to it.

Glad I got this one; they discontinued it!
I’ve used this double burner only once, so far. It worked well for me. I used both burners at the same time , luckily one pan was large but the pot was small so they both fit.

Hot plate extaordinair.
I live in a senior building where we don’t have a stove. This nice little hot plate is really nice. The top is stainless steel and easy to clean. The two burners are smooth and also easy to clean. Heat numbers from 1 to 5, 5 being hottest. It heats up relatively fast. The burners don’t turn red when hot so be mindful of that and wear hot mitts or whatever you use. It will easily brown meat, fish or chicken. Make sure the unit is level otherwise the oil or whatever you use to cook with will not cover the bottom of the pan evenly.

Great Mini Stove Top
I do not have a full size stove in my mini kitchen. I started out with the single burner and have now purchased the double burner. It heatd up fairly quickly and is easy to clean(after it cools). It works wonderfully! People are amazed at the meals I create using my cooktop burner.

I can now cook again !!!!
I was afraid the wattage would not be strong enough and it would take longer for things to cook. I was wrong. I do not wait for the ready light to come on before I put the pan on. I have noticed on somethings, such as eggs, that they are just about done when the light comes on. My stove had been slowly dying for the years and this is now the only cook top I have and use. So far it seems to be working out great. If asked would there be anything that I would recommend it would be that the on/off dial would click off and not turn on as easily.
