Great tasting rice and easy cleaning

I received the rice cooker as a wedding gift and I have been using it for near-daily rice cooking and occasional pressure-cooked dishes. There are a lot of buttons, which means a lot of features, but really easy to use. Always make tasting rice and it is large enough for my family of 4. Auto-cleaning (or self-sanitizing) is nice and if you prefer to do it yourself, you can easily take it apart for deep cleaning.

Perfect Rice Cooker for Nine Years and Counting

This was my first Cuckoo almost nine years ago after owning a few popular Japanese brands. Not only is it beautiful, but it delivers on the cooked-rice quality and taste. Since then, I’ve purchased two more Cuckoos for both my wife’s sisters and they’re Cuckoo believers. As long as you follow the manual, expect every rice kernel in the pot to be perfectly cooked and defined; no more mushy rice. Rice also keeps for several days without much yellowing. In nine years of ownership, I’ve changed the pressure gasket twice. That’s all. Be sure to hand wash your rice in a rice strainer and ALWAYS use a plastic rice spatula. Enjoy and don’t forget to “Stir the rice!”

I got this model last Christmas. One word: "Amazing"! The best rice cooker ever!!! Well made, very durable, and handsome rice cooker. Rice is delicious. Please don't use inner pot to wash rice. I wash rice with other containter only to save the inner pot so it last long. When I wash the inner pot, sock it in the water and let it sit for 20 mins and then wash it with sponge. Previous rice cooker, I used it over 30 years and it still cooks good but I decided to buy another one due to my kitchen decor color.
