Buy the Lunch Crock!
I bought this 2 months ago because I work as a teacher at a startup school where there is no microwave. This changed the game for me. It fits in my lunchbox, I plug it in when school starts (9 AM) and it heats up by the time I'm ready for lunch (12 PM)! I have heated soup, water for Ramen, and now tortellini with pasta sauce and everything turns out perfectly. It heats to just the right temperature to eat out of but not too hot. Being able to remove the inner container to clean it is so convenient. I love this thing.

Heating crockpot.
This only heats up food. I thought it was a crockpot in which I could slow cook. It’s easier just to heat up food in the microwave oven for less than one minute.

Lunch Crock perfect for busy teachers
This portable crockpot perfectly heats leftovers or a can of soup. As a teacher I appreciate not standing in line at the microwave during my 30 minute lunch. So far everything has been the perfect temperature, not too hot and all items cooked thoroughly to the same temp. I hope the company will sell extra inserts so I can meal prep more containers! I love it.

Whole base spun and broke it
I was really happy with my lunch crock until it broke. I had spaghetti inside and the dried sauce made the lid pretty tight to screw off. This is one of the new ones with the screw on lids, not the old ones with the press fit lid. The lid was so tight that it started turning the entire heating element base inside the outer shell. Now the power indicator doesnt light up and the bottom heating element doesnt get hot. If it continues to spin, itll probably break the remaining connections too and it just wont heat at all. Im exchanging it and hoping this is a one time thing, otherwise thats a definite design flaw considering theres an anti rotation pin on the heating base to prevent the food insert from spinning. Doesnt do much if the whole thing including the pin spins instead! Pretty disappointed because its great when working correctly.
