Don’t waste your money

My boyfriend bought this for me as a gift. I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet. The instructions are absolutely horrible, I had to teach myself through YouTube and TikTok. There are stitches required for some patterns that they don’t include in the instructions at all. When I finally got the hang of it, I didn’t have enough yarn for ANY of the projects included in this kit. I don’t recommend this for beginners or experts.

Lacking in quality

I bought this for myself. I already know how to crochet, however I wanted to test this out to see if I should recommend to a friend who wants to learn. The instructions do not include all the information needed for a beginner. Some of the stitches in the patterns are not included in the how-to at the beginning of the book. No big deal, at least I can enjoy it, right? Well, I started the alligator and ran out of green yarn before finishing. It looks I should have ended up with a little green left over for the kangaroos bow-tie. I checked the company's website and they do not supply missing parts so no point in reaching out to them about a shortage of yarn. Would not recommend for a beginner. The patterns are cute if you already know what you are doing and already have a stash of yarn.
