Upgraded!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 30 years with our wedding flatware we decided to upgrade to the Couzon Le Perle. Who knew one could get so happy over flatware. It has a nice weight to it and is beautiful. So glad we did it.

Not the same quality Couzon
Hello couple things, I got J Couzon 25 years ago when we got married and have lost some spoons and wanted to replace my pattern, bit no longer available. I saw this and ordered it and 1) not even close to the same quality so I sent back, but 2) said made in China online, which I bought anyway but it arrived with Made in Vietnam! China is changing stickers. Just FYI!

12 years and is still absolutely beautiful!
I never, ever write reviews, but this product is so perfect I felt that I should share my knowledge. This silverware looks brand-new, nearly 12 years since we received it for our wedding. It has never spotted and we have lived in multiple houses (therefore, multiple dishwashers) and have always let it dry in the dishwasher. Do not hesitate buying this for your home!

Just Like Christofle
I, presumably like the reviewer who preceded me, registered for this flatware set for my wedding. Both of my mother and aunt have full sets of Christofle flatware, which I have grown up with and love the look of - for anyone unfamiliar Christofle makes beautiful stainless steel (and silver) flatware which is heavy, well balanced, elegant, timeless and very low maintenance. I ended up registering for this flatware set because I don't think most of my friends would want to spend so much on utensils, and I didn't want my family to be left with the burden to round out my (what likely would have been) very small set! The Le Couzon Perle flatware looked equally beautiful and well balanced, and the stainless steel appeared to be high quality, although I don't really know that much about stainless steel to begin with! I have now been married for over a year and a half, and we have been happily using our Le Couzon Perle flatware very regularly and not going to any effort at all to treat it "nicely" or keep it pristine. Yet, it still looks shiny and new - I leave utensils to dry (no dishwasher) in the drying rack with the handles sticking upward, and there are hardly ever waterspots. If there are, they easily come off if I wipe with a dishcloth. I don't know what kind of batch the other reviewer got, but I am shocked that there was rusting of her utensils...this seems like a big mistake as I have also had really cheap, low quality stainless flatware before, and it's basically impossible to get it to rust so....seems a bit suspect! The bottom line is, I have not seen anything close at all to waterspots that are permanent, let alone rusting. These are really beautiful, elegant utensils that are perfect for everyday because they are low maintenance, but are just as at ease in a more formal dinner party environment due to their elegance, design, balance and the quality of their material. Five stars + I would erase the last review!
