The characters (and let’s face it, the readers too) are reeling from the events that took place at the end of the last book. In COURT we lose characters and gain some new ones. I cannot imagine what else the author is going to put everybody through over the rest of the series.

Great story but Annoying Lead Character!
Let me just say it took me a long time to pick up this series because I was like here we go again a love triangle, but I was amazed how different this story became from that! I love each character and the way their characters grow and learn. The story keeps you engaged and captivated and I shed a few tears through the books for different characters. The only character that I didnt really get vested in was Grace, her constant Me me me attitude, panic attacks over everything, constant doubt of the love her true mate and friends have for her is frustrating to the point I started to skim over her parts. It was the last few chapters of this book that I felt Grace really made an impact. I wish she would have had more character development for Grace than the last chapters. She just was a whining baby to me since book two. I am glad I read the series and would recommend to others but not one of my favs because of Grace.

Great Story, awful MC
Great Story, Awful MC I absolutely love this series, and right after I completed this book, I immediately purchased the 5th one. HOWEVER, Grace is the most annoying and immature MC I have ever had to endure reading from her pov. It’s honestly mind boggling how the Author managed to make such an unlikeable main character. She continuously makes everything about her, throws fits and refuses to acknowledge that she needs to make hard decisions and do hard things. She gets people killed multiple times because of this. And can I just say that I’m also getting very annoyed with her having a panic attack every single chapter. There is no reason for this. She does not need to be having a panic over every little thing. I get that the author wants to touch on mental health, but this is not the way to do it. It’s also extremely annoying how Grace and Hudson will be making goggly eyes at each other in the middle of a life or death situation every single time. Like this is not the time nor place. It’s like the author deliberately wants us to hate Grace. Grace had Zero and I mean ZERO character development until the last 10 pages after she quite literally messed up everything and caused so many people to die for no reason up to this point. She finally decides to use her powers and not be a cry baby about it and have a panic attack because she’s scared of the power she holds. I know in book 5 she’ll most likely go back to being the unbearable grace that no one likes, but I sincerely hope that in book 6 Grace grows up.

Worth the wait!
The wait was worth it for this one! Nothing is more satisfying than seeing Grace fully come into her own powers, strength, role as a leader, and finding out who she really is. I feel like so much happens in this book. I was nervous about how this group of friends were going to survive and move forward after what happened on the island. Things are somewhat rocky at first as expected but as the story progresses and each person begins to work through things in their own way you can see them all grow just a little bit more. Now for my favorite part of this entire series... Hudson Vega. God how could you not love Husdon Vega?? I loved the first book don't get me wrong because it introduced me to this series but when I got to book two and was introduced to Hudson I became obessed! His character has been through so much pain in his life. He is so misunderstood. He feels so unworthy. Yet he is so strong and not just because of his powers. The love and loyalty he has for Grace, his brother, and his friends makes even the darkest of times seem lighter. Oh and it does help that he is absolutely hilarious! His sarcasm and witty one liners are freaking life! I am pretty sure that over 90% of what I highlighted in this book were things that he said smarting off to people. The rest were him being vulnerable. His character is just everything.... absolutely everything. As for the slight cliffhanger at the end... well I sure am glad we don't have to wait long for the next installment because I am wracking my brain trying to predict where this could possibly go next after the way things ended. No matter what though I know that it's going to be quite entertaining!

A fantastic and fitting ending to a wild series
A very fitting end to a bonkers and incredibly entertaining story. (I’d say series but I THINK the author is spinning a bunch of things off from here, including another story that follows the same main characters, maybe?) It’s incredibly fast-paced and has everything I enjoyed about the previous three novels, but turned up to thirteen. There are puns with every chapter, family tree shockers, 180s with Grace going from defeatist to optimist/true believer, smoldering looks, insane tasks, fun new characters… everything. I will say that there is a LOT of new lore happening here which is great but also a bit overwhelming and hard to suss out at times. I’m still having a hard time trying to visualize how everything fits together (and also how we got here after that crazy first book). I also think I became less of a fan of Grace because of all of the stuff happening in this book, and because the book focuses more on her than anyone else and more than it did before. I’m also a bit curious as to a few loose ends and whether or not they were intentionally left that way to be answered by a new story or just forgotten about. I love this series and will read anything that comes out of this world. The Crave series found me when I needed it most and I’m so thrilled that I have so many pages of action, adventure, and romance to keep me company. And I can’t WAIT to see what comes next.

I cant find the right word
I cant find the right words to put how amazing not only this book is but the entire Crave series is. I have now read all 4 books in 4 days. over 2400 pages read, tears shed, full out belly laughs fulfilled, and sleep lost. I could not put the books down. I normally leave all books on my bookcase in my living room but after getting a few chapters into the first i knew i needed them next to my bed because I was going on an adventure! Now I am going to impatiently wait for the next to books. Thank you for preorders!!!!!
