100% Cotton But Very Stiff

I was excited.to see a truly 100% cotton comforter and ordered it knowing cotton often gets softer as it is used more. Some reviews said it was too stiff but I wasnt worried. After washing it, it is still quite stiff. It sort of floats above your body which isnt too " comforting" lol. I hope it relaxes but I was a bit disappointed.

it’s cotton but not soft

when I opened the package the comforter is very thin. the outer cover is stiff and somewhat “crunchy”! I washed it before I put it on the bed and added lots of fabric softener and cold water as directed. it took a fairly long time to dry fully and was rather wrinkled. I slept with it and no sweating at all. i decided to wash it again adding ample fabric softener and lots of dryer sheets while drying it. still came out pretty wrinkled. I will keep it and just keep washing it until it softens up. I did find it cheaper elsewhere, even less than on macys super sale.
