Cute but Tiny

This is a really cute sweater and the quality is very good. I purchased a medium in the animal print. The sleeves hit me just past the wrist and just on to the hand at a good length that wouldn't get in the way, which I liked, but overall the sweater was too small fitting for me. If left unbuttoned, the middle where the buttons are, was way over to my sides. If I wanted to button it, it stretched so much that it distorted the print. I thought about returning it and sizing up but then the sleeves would probably be too long, so I'm returning it. This sweater may be a perfect fit for a different body type (very skinny person). I'm 5' 4" tall and 148 pounds, and over 50 years old.
