Wine happiness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my Coravin! Used it right away. I have a very special $$$ bottle that honestly didn’t want to share with any one (wine greed) . Now I’ve been enjoying it every day .one glass at a time , as good as the first glass ! I went online to view the set up before I used it , the video was very helpful. The booklet it comes with is a back up.

The Coravin Model Two Wine System works great when we don't want to drink a whole bottle of wine in one day. We were introduced to this at a local winery and realized we need one of these too. Very easy to use! Keeps wine fresh.

Dangerous Item!
We purchased this system and used it just a couple of times. One night my husband and I did 3 pours. The first two worked fine, but on the third pour the whole unit exploded out of the bottle and sprayed red wine all over my kitchen, not to mention almost hit me in the face. It took hours to clean up and stained all the grout on the floor and backslash. I did research on Coravin products and found out customers reported the wine bottle exploded. One person was cut on the face and the product was removed from the market. Why it was allowed to come back on the market is a puzzlement to me. Avoid all of the systems. There is gas in the cartridges and apparently can explode. Very dangerous product!!

It works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a very expensive bottle of wine we were saving for a special occasion. So for our 40th wedding anniversary we decided this was that special occasion. We were worried that the bottle being more than 10 years in our wine cooler may not be drinkable. We used our Coravin wine system and as advertised gave us a pour to taste the wine without uncorking it. The wine tasted great and we were able to enjoy it for several more nights without spoiling the wine. We highly recommend the Coravin for all wine lovers!

Buy this!
I cannot explain how amazingly useful and perfect this thing is! You can check on something you're aging without disturbing it, or have a glass of anything you want without having to commit to a whole bottle, and you don't have to agree with your husband on what wine you're both in the mood for with dinner anymore! It works just as well and easily as when the associate in the store demonstrated it for me. It was the perfect holiday gift for any serious wine connoisseur. Be sure to pick up extra cartridges- you will be using this thing constantly!
