Not cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooks Standard professional grade 11 quart stainless steel stockpot is very well made. A lot of stockpots are really thin and seem cheap, but not this one. The stainless steel pot is thicker and has a little weight to it. It is a really great size to cook corn on the cob or a lot of soup in. Nothing I fixed in the pot has stuck to the bottom, which was nice. The handles are made nicely and don’t look like they would come off easily and are a good size and shape for lifting the pot when it is full. To give you an idea of the size, I made a pot of soup in which I put in 1 pound of corn, 1 pound of carrots. 3 quart bags of uncooked cabbage that I chopped up, 1 quart of canned green beans, 3 quarts of tomato juice and 2 pounds of cooked hamburger meat chopped up. I still had some room at the top of the pot (picture included). The pot also comes with a lid that fits perfectly and also seems to be well made. I definitely recommend this pot, as it’s great for soup making, cooking large amounts of vegetables and would be great for making many other meals in as well. I didn’t have any negative experiences with this product. If you are a shorter height, you might need a stool to safely reach the top of the pot for stirring and checking items.

Great

My previous stock pots have always been very thin so I never really cooked anything in them other than corn on the cob and spaghetti. I have made soup and apple sauce and nothing burnt to the bottom. It is a nice rugged pot.

Stock pot

I can fit ears and ears of corn in this pot.I also love this pot because you can make big batches of soup to eat or freeze .oh lets not forget about sauce .I simmered a pot of tomato sauce for hours with no burning or sticking .to top it all off clean up was a breeze

Doesn't stick!!

Top Notch Cookware

It’s the “little” things ....the handles had minimal heat transfer , the lid fits perfectly and the pot itself is very sturdy. The most impressive feature is the heat distribution along the bottom. There wasn’t a little rounded area that was heated...the entire bottom was heated. This is so very important when cooking. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of their products!

Better Than I Expected

All Steel, no plastic. I have used it several times now and it still looks new. Easy to clean, no signs of wear yet not even a burner mark. I Would definitely buy other kitchen items from this company.

Good Thick Steel Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stockpot is awesome and retains the heat really well. My old pot would not exchange the heat very well, and this one does. I do not have to keep adjusting the temperature. Being 11 quarts, it held enough broth for my chicken and dumplings. Made with real stainless steel. It's rivet free on the inside, and the lid is recessed. Makes it where I don't have to worry about the Lid sliding off if I bump it. Being that its made of 18-10 steel, it made clean up a breeze and I didn't have to soak it over night.
