Damaged Item/ Would not recommend

Upon opening, two of the blades were bent and scuffed, but my son still wanted to keep it (as replacement blades were included). We charged the device and the remote, but couldn't get it to connect to the device. We allowed for a longer charge time, and the next day was able to get a more stable connection, but still couldn't get the remote to control the gimbal (the blades turned on, but it remained on the ground). Finally, on day 3 of trying, we were able to get it off the ground (only went up around 5 feet). Unfortunately, the remote stopped controlling the gimbal and it went into our sliding glass door. In hindsight, the bent blades were an indication that the device was previously used, repackaged, and sold. However, there is a clear issue with this device and it should have never been resold. There needs to be better quality control measures implemented to prevent the sale of damaged items. I would not recommend this item.
