Great Jacket !!

Really Great Jacket ! Columbia , This company makes quality products . The Interchange Jacket fits me like a glove . I'm 5'10" and 200 pounds I ordered an XL Regular Fit and it's perfect ! With the fleece zipped in it is very warm jacket. I believe this jacket will get me through many years of chilly wet days .

Sizing runs BIG!!! I mean, really big!!!!

A really nice jacket whose sizing is bizarre. Bought the XXL so that I would have extra room for a half-zip or other layers beneath and I am absolutely swimming in this thing! I've bought XXL from Columbia before and with these same underlayers the jacket has fit well. This is NOT that.

Warm, but not great in hours of rain.

Mixed opinion on this jacket. For warmth, it meets my expectations. I like the fleece liner on its own when it's not too cold out, and combined with the outer shell is very wind resistant and keeps me pretty warm. But its water resistance is not great. Maybe if you're only out in a heavy rain momentarily. But standing in moderate rain for several hours like I did last week at a high school track meet...not so much. The outer shell got saturated rather quickly, the liner got wet, and I was soaked to the skin on one side of the jacket. It leaked through the seams terribly on one side. Also the pocket zippers are not protected with either a flap or it's own water resistant coating, so what was in my pockets also got pretty wet. In spite of the water penetration, I did stay pretty warm.
