great pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing these for years. The fit is great, pockets the right size, cool in summer and warm enough in winter (especially with an extra layer underneath). The zipper pocket is just right for my cell phone.

Great Zip-off Pants

Unraveling of quality

The stitching on both pair of convertible pants I purchased failed miserably. One pair arrived with no stitching on the bottom of the rear pocket rendering it useless. The other rear pocket has now also come unattached. The crotch on both pair have failed and I've had to mend them. I thought Columbia stood for quality, now that perception is also frayed. We will see if it's beyond repair.
