The right fit

Oddly cut

This jacket is oddly cut. I got an XS and a S for my 6yo and 8yo and, while they seem to be the correct size (fit well in sleeve length and around the chest and shoulders), they fit strangely. It is unusually short from the armpit to the hem of the jacket. I could see this even before trying them on my girls. If anything, a jacket should be slightly long in the body, not noticeably too short! When the hood is up and the jacket is zipped all the way up, it comes halfway up their faces, not merely to the chin as you would expect. It's like the designers didn't test it on a real kid. I got the comparable boy jacket (Steens Mt. II) for my 4yo son and it does not have these two issues; it is well proportioned. Super disappointed.
